2025 BUILDING FUND RAFFLE
As we begin our seventh Building Fund Raffle, we can look back on some of the projects we were able to undertake with proceeds from previous raffles. Our projects last year included the replacement of our dining room windows with new Pella double pane, double hung windows, the repair and rehabilitation of our club room casement windows, the installation of a new split system air conditioning unit for the kitchen, and the purchase of materials to install a new electric service for power and lighting in our outdoor shed.
While much has been done in the past few years, there are many more projects still awaiting adequate funding. We have applied for a portion of the Village’s NY Forward grant which, if approved, will provide funds for repaving the parking lot, replacing the vinyl siding on the main building, rebuilding the front porch, replacing our boiler, installing a new kitchen hood and fan system with fire suppression and installing a programmable electronic message board in the front lawn area. With this year’s raffle, assuming that other higher priority projects don’t become necessary, we would like to continue the kitchen renovations with new cabinets and countertop along the west wall, which is the side closest to the dining room. These would match the cabinets and countertop at our recently replaced kitchen island.
Only 200 tickets will be sold and prizes totaling $10,000 will be awarded on Saturday, August 23 at 3 PM at the Post. You could win $5,000, $2,000, $1000, $500 or $200 with a total of 10 chances to win. All ticket holders will be eligible for all drawings even if a prize has already been won.
